KPN provides a clean, safe and loving environment to care for the delicate and critical needs of infants, babies and toddlers. Age-appropriate classroom equipment is displayed on child-sized racks to make it easy for little ones to freely work on their choice of activities.

Strategic emphasis is kept on the language, social and physical skills through hand-on, play-based activities such as messy play, sensorial play and role play.

Getting ready for the big school requires confident independence. In an inquisitive, motivating and challenging environment, we support our young children’s critical thinking skills through hand-on, play-based and stimulating activities.
Our continuous methods of monitoring progress ensure that by the end of the program FS children are able to read, write and express their thoughts in meaningful conversations. We teach mathematics through real life experience. By the end of the program, children are able to apply their knowledge to solve simple mathematical problems about numbers and measurements.

KPN welcomes infants aged 45 days to 11 months into the nursery. New born infants are fragile and delicate who require intensive and focused care in a clean, safe and secure environment. We ensure that our loving, caring and experienced staff working with infants have deep understanding of the needs of infants. Our key focus at the time of receiving a new infant is to gain infant’s trust by loving and caring and building strong social and emotional relationships with the infants. Adults working with infants spend their days looking after the personal needs of infants.
KPN provides emotional support to the parents of infants by allowing them to spend time with their new born infant at the nursery and observe our daily routines. We ensure that we build trustworthy relations with parents, and they feel safe in leaving their infants with us. Parents are regularly kept informed of their child’s day through the Parent App.
Keeping in mind, the sequence and rate of development, our daily routines are designed to foster the developmental needs of infants. Following routines is necessary for infants to develop an understanding of the world around them. Our routines for infants for feeding, napping, diaper changing and playing remain well structured with room for flexibility as and when required.
Infants make prominent progress in their physical development during the first 2 years of their life. Progress in one area impacts the progress in all other areas. To monitor this rate and sequence of development, teachers keep track of infant’s progress through on-going observations and keeping records of their observations.
Activities to support and foster infant development include tummy time on the floor. This works on the infants core muscles and strengthens their overall physical agility. Messy play allows infants to explore different textures. Sensorial play allows infants to explore their senses and learn about the world around them through their sense. At Kiddy Planet we play to learn!

Once our infants learn to walk and they become mobile to explore the environment on their own, we shift them to our babies room. Still at a delicate stage, we ensure that our babies spend their day in a safe, caring and clean environment. Adults working with babies have a comprehensive understanding of the babies developmental needs. They play games such as peek a boo and hide n seek to build strong social and emotional relations with the babies. Following well-structured routines is a key focus at this stage also, although we allow room for flexibility as and when required,
We allow parents of babies to meet their baby’s teacher during drop off and pick up times. These daily interactions build trustworthy relation between parents and teachers. Parents are regularly kept informed of their child’s day through the Parent App.
Activities to support and foster babies include both indoor and outdoor play. Babies area is designed for babies to have easy access to the outdoor garden. Mornings start with outdoor play activities for babies. This allows for babies to have a smooth transition between home and nursery since they get busy playing in the garden as soon as they enter the nursery.
Babies make prominent progress in their physical development during the first 2 years of their life. Progress in one area impacts the progress in all other areas. To monitor this rate and sequence of development, teachers keep track of babies’ progress through on-going observations and keeping records of their observations.
To foster the developmental needs of babies, messy play, sensorial play and heuristic play are embedded into the daily routines of babies throughout the day. At Kiddy Planet we play to learn!

Children aged between 2 and 3 years are at a stage when developmental needs rapidly change. They require a clean, safe and friendly environment where they have freedom of choice to explore and learn.
Toddlers gain physical agility to run and climb along with an explosion in their language skills. Building relations through physical games and meaningful talk is a necessity for teachers. Our qualified and experienced teachers spend quality talk time with toddlers and rely on talk to teach children about the world around them.
Teachers keep track of the toddlers’ developmental progress through on-going observations. Regular assessments are conducted to evaluate the toddler’s progress against the developmental milestones printed in Development Matter 2021.
Daily information is shared on the Parent App to keep the parents informed of their toddler’s day at the nursery.
Our well-structured routines allow toddlers to make sense of the world around them. Teachers design sensorial and messy play activities to stimulate curiosity in toddlers. Our theme-based approach explores various elements of chosen themes. Story sessions, role play, and technology is simultaneously applied to engage toddlers in play and support their all-round developmental needs. At Kiddy Planet we play to learn!

FS1 children are ready to be prepared for mainstream school life. Our key focus for FS1 children is to provide an inquisitive, healthy and safe environment. A learning rich environment in which children develop curiosity to explore the world around them and build a sense of self as well as learn basic life skills, such as meaningful and comprehensive language skills.
FS1 children must be given suitable opportunities to develop independence, confidence and a high self-esteem. Our qualified and experienced staff is equipped with knowledge and skills to monitor, track and assess children’s progress in their learning and development. We keep parents informed of all developmental progress through the Parent App.
Following a thematic approach, we ensure that all learning takes place through play-based activities. Children in FS1 learn basic literacy skills of comprehension and word formation. They are introduced to values and symbols in mathematics along with basic introduction of shapes, sizes and measurements. Children also explore science topics such as, animals, space and plants. At Kiddy Planet we play to learn!

FS2 children are at a transitional age between nursery and big school. Independence, confidence and articulation are key areas of focus at this stage. We ensure that our FS2 are independent in self-care needs and they can confidently express their feelings, likes and dislikes.
Monitoring, tracking and assessing FS2 children is a routine process. Our qualified and experienced staff are equipped with deep knowledge of setting reasonable expectations and challenging FS2 children to stay motivated to learn.
In literacy, FS2 children learn to use their phonic knowledge to write familiar and unfamiliar words to form meaningful sentences. In Mathematics they learn to work with numbers to add and subtract numbers. They learn about measurements, such as distances, sizes and weights. Our FS2 children explore the world of sciences such as the animal world, space, plants and experimentation. All learning takes place through play-based learning opportunities. At Kiddy Planet we play to learn!
